Our tours end about a 12-minute walk from where the tours begin. Our guides are always happy to call a taxi for you or point you in the right direction.
The duration of our walking tours is approximately 3.5-4 hours with a 15-minute leeway on either side.
The maximum number is 12 people.
Roughly ¾ of the time we will be on our feet. The tours are led at a very casual pace on fairly flat terrain. Wear comfortable shoes, no matter how you are spending time with us.
There are 3 flights of stairs up to one of our food stops. If stairs are an issue for you, please email us to check as our tour stops do change due to seasonal differences.
We have endeavored to make the Eating Prague Food Tour as wheelchair and baby stroller friendly and accessible as possible. However, some stops at certain times of year do have stairs that make it less accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. If this is important to you, please email us to check as our tour stops do change due to seasonal differences.
Yes bathrooms are available at almost all of the food tasting locations.
Is this a trick question? Cameras are most certainly permitted and photos are absolutely encouraged!
There are no options for shopping on our tour. In fact, on all of our tours, we ask that you refrain from shopping to help us keep within our schedule. Food is being prepared fresh for you at each tasting stop. But if you are keen on buying a product sold at one of the locations we visit, please feel free to go back there after the end of the tour (you will be given a Food Lover’s Guide that includes a map with the exact location of each stop).
All of our tours go ahead – rain, hail or shine! In the case of rain we are able to go inside many of the tasting locations and there are other places where we will be able to stay dry. We kindly ask that you please look at the weather forecast and dress appropriately. And please remember, bookings are only refundable if made 2 weeks in advance of your tour date.
At the current time our tours are only led in English.
Over the course of our food tours you will be enjoying 7 food tastings which is equivalent to a very large-sized lunch or dinner. On our beer tour, there are approx. 4 food tastings and 5 beer tastings. You won’t leave hungry, we promise.
As part of our food tour, alcohol is served during at least one of the stops. Feel free to ask for a soft drink or water as an alternative if you prefer not to drink alcohol. Beer is obviously an inherent part of our Brews and Views Beer Tour and we don’t recommend joining the tour is you don’t drink alcohol.
In addition to the alcohol mentioned above, water is served during most sit down meals and tastings.
All of our food tours are vegetarian friendly. Please notify us of your dietary restrictions upon booking. Please note that traditional Czech cuisine is rather rich in meat. We will, however, offer vegetarian substitutes upon request.
When you make your booking we ask what dietary restrictions you have and will do our best to accommodate them. If you have food allergies or intolerances and decide to try tastings in addition to those that have been specially catered for you, please be aware that you do so at your own risk and the company assumes no responsibility.
